AIRPORTSTAR - FlightOps
The software AIRPORTSTAR-FLIGHTOPS serves the capturing and editing of daily schedules as a basis for the operational
control of flight events. The extensive interface features of the AIRPORTSTAR software suite allow the use of
different methods for the provision and updating of flight data.
Basic daily flight schedule data can be imported from the seasonal flight planning module AIRPORTSTAR-FLIGHTSEASON,
various other flight scheduling systems, via multiple standard protocols or even from MS Excel sheets.
Automated Updating via IATA Messages, Airline Systems and Other Interfaces
Continuous updating of all relevant data is also of utmost importance for an airport. In combination with the
AIRPORTSTAR message broker, AIRPORTSTAR-FLIGHTOPS offers a wide variety of interfaces to systems like
SITA and proprietary airline information systems which can be used to automatically update flight data.
For operational IATA messages (LDM, PVT, PSM etc.) not only a powerful parser is available, but also a
clearing interface where messages can be checked and corrected if necessary.
The imbedding of other systems is also easily possible due to the availability of a flexible interface management.
Comfortable Flight Schedule Editing and Completion
The flight schedule is displayed in freely configurable interface masks, allowing the customisation of the
information to be displayed for various fields of business precisely according to their individual needs.
Thus, the best overview for optimally supporting any specific task can be achieved. Colour-codes are used
to mark flight records requiring special attention, e.g. if necessary data is lacking or any inconsistencies occur.
In this respect, every change made to existing data is subject to automatic plausibility checks running in the background.
AIRPORTSTAR-FLIGHTOPS offers a wide variety of features for supporting the editing and completing of flight
schedule data according to the specific requirements of airports. In clearly arranged table views, basic flight
data (e.g. scheduled times, aircraft data, airport resources) can be complemented with important operational data
(status information, ETT, ATT, block times, delays etc.) and load data (passengers, freight). Furthermore,
arrivals and departures of individual aircraft can be linked to define rotations, and special cases
like “Touch&Go” or “Overshoots” can be comfortably recorded.
Graphical Resource Management for Immobile Resources
With AIRPORTSTAR-FLIGHTVIEW, an optional add-on module for the daily flight scheduling software
AIRPORTSTAR-FLIGHTOPS is available. It offers a clearly arranged graphical display of the allocation
of immobile resources like, for example, gates, stands, positions etc. for individual flights.
Based on the tabularly recorded flight data records, a graphical Gantt chart view of the individually
assigned resources is created, providing a perfect overview of immobile resource assignment and
occupancy for planning and operational purposes. This allows an immediate identification and fixing
of possible double allocations of resources.
