Comprehensive Seasonal Flight Planning and Scheduling |
 |
GHS-FLIGHTSEASON
A reliable and constantly updated seasonal flight scheduling is not only of crucial importance for long-term resource
planning, but also for the creation of daily flight schedules for the operative ground handling business.
GHS-FLIGHTSEASON offers comprehensive features covering all requirements for a seasonal flight planning – starting with
the flight schedule import from the responsible official institution to the manual editing and completing of data and
finally the automatic creation and export of precise operational daily flight schedules.
IT integration: Import and Editing of Seasonal Flight Data
A standard interface to an airport coordination institution is used to import the official seasonal flight schedule
data. During the import procedure, automatic plausibility checks are performed, crosschecking imported data with
master data stored on the AODB and marking conflicting or missing information for updating. The manual editing and
completion of flight schedule data can either be done in a rolled-out view of single flights or in a compressed view
where regular flights are summarised in flight periods. While editing data, the software automatically performs
plausibility checks in the background, informing a user immediately about possible mistakes.
Additional Features: IATA Message Updating and Automated Export
A connection to the optional module GHS-SITA allows the import of seasonal IATA messages for the additional automated
updating of flight data. The export to the AODB and thus to the attached daily flight scheduling is performed
automatically in freely definable cyclical periods. With the information broker module GHS-MB, any other necessary
data exchange interfaces to airline systems, traffic control systems etc. can also be realised.
GHS-FLIGHTSEASON offers all functions necessary for an optimal seasonal flight planning and supports the user by
automating many time-consuming worksteps so he can concentrate completely on the actual planning tasks.
