GHS-REALTIME optimises and controls the ground handling processes on the actual day of operation.
The application is a decision support system for real-time scheduling of resources (e.g. staff members, vehicles) in a time-critical environment under operational constraints. The system is able to optimise the complete assignment mobile and immobile resources for ground handling operations. In this regard it also takes manifold aspects into account like, for example, travelling distances, loading capacities, local and organizational restrictions, teaming, workload or task priority.

Intelligent Business Logics for Process Optimisation

The system has an online connection to the Flight Information System, which collects and distributes the flight information and provides all flight schedule data and necessary updates, on a real time basis. GHS-REALTIME generates assignments of mobile / immobile resources or tasks from this information taking into consideration detailed flight information, various parameters and manual entries by the allocator. The assignment of tasks or resources to flights, or of tasks to staff members, is optimised by GHS-REALTIME. A highly developed Task-Optimiser permanently controls the validity of the actual task distribution or resource assignments, and if necessary updates assignments and warns the allocator. The allocator can overwrite or change the assignments and modify the data of the system if required. Tasks can be transmitted to the staff automatically via mobile communication tools.
