The Ground Handling System (GHS) is a versatile, integrated IT solution specially developed for the requirements of ground handling companies.

Software for Contract Management, Service Recording, Billing and many other Aircraft Handling Processes

The system is modularly structured and offers software solutions for the complete chain of processes in ground handling from contract management and flight scheduling up to service recording and invoicing. In addition to the coverage of all corresponding fields of operation, the focus lies especially on the optimisation of work processes: Handling contracts can be created with an extremely high degree of flexibility and printed out ready-to-sign, the assignment of contracts to actual flights is performed automatically. Extra services provided in handling procedures can be comfortably recorded with mobile computers right on the apron or manually entered in ergonomic terminal masks. During the recording process, all fees and prices are automatically calculated based on price regulations defined in contracts or in accordance with actual flight data. The final process step is a freely configurable invoicing procedure with customisable invoice printing and an optional data forwarding to an attached ERP system.

Central Database (AODB) and Interfaces to External Systems

GHS features a central database which ensures that business departments using the system work with unique and identical data. Also included are many versatile interfaces to external systems or other file formats, allowing to import, for example, external flight schedule data or IATA messages. Another highlight is the Web-technology the system is based upon: This technology allows company-wide access to the database from any computer with a simple standard browser, and thus seamless cooperation.

User-friendly Ground Handling System Down to the Detail

The actual software is also installed on a single server and can be accessed with a standard browser from anywhere via Intra- or Internet – company-wide from any station in any country. No tedious installation of software at individual workstations is required, and updates or extensions can be made available to everyone immediately. A sophisticated user management system allows the detailed assignment of access rights for individual users or groups. This allows the personalised access clearance to software modules, information and functions already upon login. Based on the individual login the system offers extensive configuration options. For example, the language in which the software is presented can be defined based on the login. Another significant advantage is the configurability of the data presentation. Here it can not only be determined which data is made available to a user or group. It is also possible to define the order in which information is listed, allowing an optimised data display for each field of business.
