The electronic medical file

The new electronic patient file topCare EHR offers more quality in patient care and treatment. With topCare EHR the relevant data such as latest findings plus the diagnostic and therapeutic steps can be directly captured via the mobile iPad at the patient and then stored centrally. The method used so far – the manual paper documentation reporting followed by a later transfer to the hospital information system - can be dropped.

topCare EHR’s ergonomic user interface offers quick and intuitive handling per touch screen, so information can be both accessed and recorded promptly.

The medical and nursing staff gets a situation-dependent insight into the patient file and can get the information needed to start further medical treatment or to document the healing process directly.

Quick access to the relevant data means an improved quality of treatment and smooth working processes. The pooling of all information in the electronic medical file makes teamwork among the staff easier.

The integrated access and authorisation concept regulates the user privileges so that patient data are administered and made available in accordance with the latest data protection standards.
