topiLOGT - Goods receipt processing
With topiLOG we offer a standard solution for the collection and verification of
the goods receipt data. During the incoming goods transactions it is important
to determine the completeness and the kind of article of a delivery and to
compare these information with the order data in order to recognize false
deliveries and to initiate repeat orders or returns of goods.
Quick collection of the goods receipt data
During the reception of the goods the workers enter the head data of the order
(e.g. order number, customer number, delivery note number) by means of barcode
scan or voice input. In the next work step the means of loading and the kind
of article are entered.
More efficiency due to data verification
If the order data are memorized in a goods receipt database, they are
transmitted from the superimposed system to topiLOG via interface as close
to the expected goods reception event as possible.
The database-driven goods receipt processing module uses an online connection
to the goods receipt terminals running the browser-based software.
Due to the comparison with the entered data, false deliveries are recognized
and recorded which makes a corresponding reaction possible.
Thus topiLOG offers a quick and uncomplicated collection and verification of the
goods receipt data. Of course, our standard solution can be adapted comfortably
to individual requirements.
