„Konnichiwa Lydia“ - Successful start to the speech based picking project in Japan!
In July 2010 it was time for the employees of the Japanese manufacturer of crown mouldings and wood sections,
Mihashi, to say goodbye to paper.
They switched from the paper-based picking system used to date to the modern Pick by Voice system topSPEECH-Lydia®.
Since then “Lydia“ has been, so to speak, one of the colleagues, not only helping with the compilation of shipments,
but also with the warehousing and stock transfer of in-house and external products and the inventory.

True IT integration and operational streamlining for Dusseldorf Airport’s ground handling subsidiary
As already reported in autumn 2009, topsystem and its partner Inform signed contracts with SITA Airport IT for
comprehensive software installation projects with both Dusseldorf International Airport and its ground handling
subsidiary FDGHG.
Now the complete package for the optimisation of ground handling operations has been successfully commissioned into operation at Germany’s third-largest airport with about 18 million passengers per year.

Aviapartner – Software fully operational for all stations
After having been commissioned into operation at the first Aviapartner station about three years ago, the use of topsystem’s
Ground Handling System Suite (GHS) has now been fully extended to 23 stations with a wide range of additional functions.
One of the most demanding challenges in this project was the adaptation of service billing to a multitude of countries
with different financial laws and tax regulations. Different VAT rates applicable to country-specific groupings of
services, electronic invoicing via digital certification and many other peculiarities had to be covered.
