From a German system house to a globally active technology provider: This is how our company history of the last 25 years can be described. The "top" in topsystem has always illustrated the idea behind the foundation of the company: the abbreviation stands for "Technologies for the optimization of processes". Since 1995 we have been operating successfully on the market and developing IT solutions for a wide variety of areas. It all started with a control software for industrial furnaces. After only a short time we entered the aviation industry and recognized further potential in logistics, especially in the field of voice solutions. Over the last 20 years we have steadily expanded our core competencies for voice-guided work processes with Lydia® Voice and are now the second largest voice provider worldwide.
Since 2016, we have been part of the globally active EPG Group (Ehrhardt + Partner Group) and have since been able to benefit from many entrepreneurial and cross-product synergies. Our common mission: Smarter Connected Logistics. This means: Every day we work with passion and dedication to optimize our customers' processes and offer the best possible solution. To achieve this, we are constantly developing our products and solutions. Always in line with the latest market developments and the requirements of our customers. With our Voice and Logistics Solutions we are an integral part of the Supply Chain Execution System (SES) of EPG.
Our new office building is located right next to the Tivoli in Aachen: on May 1, 2021, we moved our headquarters from Würselen to the Tivoli innovation Center (TIC) in Aachen. This building not only provides our current team with enough space to continue developing innovative software solutions for voice applications and logistics - it also offers room for at least 90 more colleagues. The new building is our response to our extraordinary growth in recent years. In order to be able to cope with the demands of our global customer base in the future, the move was an important step in our company's development. In this context, we have also changed our company name and have been operating as topsystem GmbH since May 1.
